Submit a claim on your travel insurance policy where something goes wrong while travelling.
Claims may be submitted either while you are away or when you return home at the end of the trip. In the event that you need to make a claim, it is essential that you obtain copies of any reports or documents to support your claim. This includes medical, police or airline reports, as well as the contact details for any doctors you visit or any hospitals you attend, and receipts/invoices for any payments or purchases.
Claims are generally settled within 10 business days of QBE receiving a completed claim form and all necessary supporting documentation. It should be noted that where information submitted is incomplete or supporting documentation is missing there may be delays in processing and settling your claim. If any additional information is required to process your claim, you will be contacted within 10 business days.
Additional information can be found in the applicable policy wording, and specific instructions are provided in the claim form which can be downloaded below.
